Hey all,
I've tried unsuccessfully to find some much needed help around the Short Track Warriors site. And now I'm trying again. I'm in need of help with the site. I need some news posters or track reporters, anybody that can help. If you want to follow a class and write articles on that specific class at different tracks, then we can work something out. | Tuesday's Lucas Oil Race - Class Correction |

On the Cleveland Speedway website, the press release titled "More Info on Race for Juvenile Diabetes", is incorrect. I have confirmed with a track official that the Limited Late Models WILL NOT be racing on Tuesday with the Lucas Oil. The schedule and the ticker on the track's website says the Crate Late Models will be running along with A-Hobby, however the release stated the wrong information.
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Crate Late Models $1,500 to win, and an A-Hobby feature.

| Cleveland gets a date with Lucas Oil! |

The cars and superstars of the national-touring Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be making their first-ever sanctioned event at the Cleveland Speedway on Tuesday night June 16th, paying $7,000-to-win as a part of a 7-race swing across 10 days. Back on April 4th, a Lucas Oil race in North Carolina was rained out, so some of the Lucas Oil racers went to Cleveland for the Shamrock 60 where Lucas Oil standout Billy Moyer claimed victory, with Cleveland regulars claiming 5th and 8th!

| Rain postpones The Mountain |

Due to all the rain yesterday and more rain falling this morning, The Mountain Raceway Park has announced that tonight's Thunder Series race has been postponed until next Saturday night, May 16th. Rain, Rain, Go Away!!

| Wartburg cancels |

Earlier today, Wartburg Speedway announced they would try to race today, however, Mother Nature is bringing her 2nd round of heavy rain and thunderstorms toward Wartburg Speedway, and has forced the track management to cancel tonight's program. As of 2:45p ET, Dopplar Radar indicated a batch of heavy rain with embedded thunderstorms stretching from close to Crossville, all the way over to almost Jackson, TN, with the rain moving East and the thunderstorms moving south-southeast.
Next weekend the Wartburg speedway will not be in action due to Crossville Raceway's scheduled Tennessee Thunder DirtCar Series race on Friday. Wartburg will return to action on May 15th.

| SRRS @ Boyd's rained out |

Races for this Friday night (May 1st) at the Boyd's Speedway in Chattanooga/Ringgold are rained-out. The Southern Regional Racing series Super Late Model tour will have to wait for the return visit to the 1/3 mile clay banked oval for another date. The $3,000. to-WIN, 50 lap main-event were headed to TN/GA bordered track for a Friday night showdown that had racefans ready for action. For the past two races Boyd's Speedway competitors have produced back to back PHOTO-FINISHES and the SRRS style of action, was expected to bring three-weeks in a row of dirt track excitement. Racers are battling for cash and prizes for the 2009 BOYD's SPEEDWAY TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP and next weekend will see Regular Racing in ALL (6) CLASSES battle for week # 3. Steel-Head LM's will top the card with their touted $1,000. to-WIN with the Crate LM's up-second with their $800. to-WIN feature. A-Hobby, B-Hobby, Pony and FWD will all be racing as well It is unknown if the SRRS SLM's will be rescheduled.
